Cooking with Our Saints

Cooking with Our Saints

This is a monthly cooking class during which a speaker from the highlighted country—for example, France, Scotland, Cambodia or Jordan—discusses growing up Catholic in his or her homeland and tells the story of that country’s patron saint. Then the speaker talks about three or four native dishes before everyone heads to the kitchen to prepare the meal. After cooking, everyone gathers in the parish hall to enjoy a communal feast. In the end, participants understand the universality of Catholicism, learn some basic cooking skills, and take home a packet of recipes from a different country.

Watch the bulletin for announcements about the upcoming classes. To register, email cookasia@verizon.net or download this form and drop it off in the parish office.
