LINK
St. Veronica Parish participates with LINK.
LINK, Inc. exists to provide emergency food and financial assistance to qualified people in need in the Herndon, Sterling, and Ashburn, Virginia communities. The all-volunteer staff members at LINK believe in the power of selfless service and the importance of providing people in crisis with unconditional love. This love includes commitment, compassion, and the courage to serve the sick, abused, hurt, unloved, and powerless. LINK, Inc. is an emergency support organization that currently consists of a group of dedicated churches, organizations, and individuals that provide food and financial assistance to qualified people in need. Volunteers do all the work, and most goods are received from donations.
St. Veronica Parish's primary support of LINK is:
1. Through food and paper product donations. Donations are collected at Mass for disbursement to a food
pantry in Herndon on the second weekend of every month.
2. In November we will help to deliver groceries to those in need in our community.
Deliveries are packaged at the pantry and members of our parish will bring them to those less fortunate.
LINK is open to all! Volunteers are needed for transporting the filled bags each month to the LINK pantry and to make deliveries during the first 3 weeks of November
