SAINT VERONICA CATHOLIC SCHOOL

13th ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT

Thank You for Another Great Tournament!

Thank you to everyone who came out to play and support the 13th Annual St. Veronica Golf Tournament at Chantilly National Golf & Country Club on Columbus Day.  This year’s golf outing was another great success.  Although the weather looked inhospitable at first, the day turned out to be absolutely perfect. The golf did not disappoint either as this year’s golf tournament was battle to the finish. At the close of play, the top six (6) teams were separated by only a few strokes and the two leading contenders finished tied at 60. So the championship had to be decided by a match of cards. In the end, the valiant challenge by Team Nichols fell short as they could not unseat last year’s tournament champion – Team Yeo.  Congratulations go to Team Yeo for a great win in defense of their title.

We also want to thank all of the wonderful sponsors for this year’s golf outing. We are truly grateful for your generous support for the students and teachers at St. Veronica Catholic School. In particular, we want to thank our Dinner Sponsors Brian Busick at Schoolhouse Grill and Peter Elliot at R.W. Murray Company. Your unwavering support for the children and faculty at our great school is absolutely critical to our success, and we are deeply indebted to you for your generosity.  A special thank you also goes to Dave Swisher at BuildersFence Company, Dan McDonnell at Frozen Yo and Wayne Gaskill and Equilibrium Technologies. We could not make it without your support as well and the support of all our wonderful volunteers, golfers and sponsors every year. Thank you all for everything you do and please plan on joining us again next year!
