Summer Reading Lists


All rising 1st - 8th grade students must complete the assigned summer workbook and reading assignments. This work will be collected and graded during the first week of the 2015-2016 school year.

Please note that while there is no required summer workbook or reading assignments for rising Pre-K or Kindergarten students, we strongly encourage those students to read with their parents twenty minutes each day!

Note:  If you use Amazon please be sure and use smile.amazon.com where you can sign up to support St. Veronica.  If you use Barnes and Noble SCRIP, the school receives 9% of your purchase back through this fundraising program.


Rising 1st - 4th graders:

Please order the Summer Bridge Book for the grade the student will be entering in August, 2015. These books can be purchased from Summer Bridge, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or other retailers.  





Rising 5th -7th graders:

Please order the Summer Express Book for the grade the student will be entering in August, 2015. These books can be ordered through Scholastic, Amazon, Barnes & Noble or other retailers. 



Rising 8th graders who took Pre-Algebra or Algebra and 7th graders who took Pre-Algebra:

Please complete the Summer Skills math books. These books can be purchased through the Summer Skills website. Students who were in Pre-Algebra this year should complete the Pre-Algebra workbook.  Students who were in Algebra this year should complete the Algebra workbook.



Expanded Pre-K Program for 20​15-2016 School Year

​After a successful inaugural year, we are thrilled to announce the expansion of our Pre-K program for the 2015-2016 school year to include a full day option! The expansion of our program will provide new, large classrooms for our youngest students! This program, for four year olds and five year olds whose birthdays fall outside the September 30th cut-off for Kindergarten, is designed to provide for a seamless transition to Kindergarten the following year.

Michael Ventrelli Memorial Fund for St. Veronica Catholic School

In lieu of flowers, the Ventrelli family has established the Michael Ventrelli Memorial Fund to benefit  St. Veronica Catholic School. Donations may be made through our Support page here, or by sending in your contribution to the school office at 3460-B Centreville Road, Chantilly, VA, 20151, to the attention of Mr. Peter Mannix. Be a Victor For a Day Progam

 
We invite your child to come and discover the spirit of St. Veronica School! Our Be a Victor for a Day program will provide students in grades 2-7 the opportunity to spend the day in our classrooms and to experience our excellent academics, wonderful teachers, and fantastic school community!
