DESCRIPTION:Join us in the parish hall at 6:15 pm on Saturday\, April 13\, to hear\nabout the life and Cause for Sainthood of Father Vincent R. Capodanno\, MM.\nFr. Capodanno was killed in action in 1967 while serving as a Navy\nchaplain with a Marine Corps infantry unit during the Vietnam War. He\nposthumously received the Medal of Honor for heroic actions above and\nbeyond the call of duty. Fr. Capodanno is believed to be one of the\nsaintliest men of modern times and in May 2006\, the Catholic Church\nofficially proclaimed Fr. Capodanno a Servant of God\, the first of four\nsteps in the canonization process.\nMary Preece\, Vice Postulator of the Cause for Canonization for Fr.\nCapodanno and Vice Admiral Stephen Stanley\, USN (ret)\, Chairman of\nthe Board of the Vincent Capodanno Guild will be our guest speakers. \n
