Patricians Meeting-What is the Liturgy of the hours?
Have you ever heard a priest talk about praying the Liturgy of the Hours during a homily and wondered what it is? St. Paul VI said that the Liturgy of the Hours is a prayer not only for clergy but for the laity as well. Come and learn about the Liturgy of the Hours and ways to incorporate it into your prayer life. Please join the Patricians, on Monday 8/21 in the acolyte room. Water and snacks will be provided.

St. Lucy Food Drive
St. Veronica food drive to benefit Catholic Charities St. Lucy Project, begins on the weekend of September 2nd/3rd and continues to Sunday, September 10th . Please consider picking up a blue bag in the vestibule and adding a few non-perishable items, boxed, bagged or canned (no glass), to your shopping list for our neighbors in need. Gift cards to Walmart, Giant, and Aldi, brought to the parish office, are also welcome, thank you in advance for your generosity.

The Youth Apostolate will be on fall hiatus until we kick things off again with our School Year Kickoff on Sunday, September 10th. All families with children in either middle school or high school are invited to this fun event featuring a cookout, games, and the opportunity to learn more about what the Youth Apostolate will be doing this school year.
