Rescheduled: Humanae Vitae at 50, Obsolete Relic or Prophetic Vision?

May 22, 2018 3:45 pm

Due to the tornado warning that evening, the talk scheduled for May 14th has been moved to June 11th:

This year is the 50th anniversary of Humanae Vitae. No modern Papal Encyclical has been the focus of so much controversy. Now that it is 50 years old, it’s time to look back and determine if it correctly addressed the ills that unrestricted contraception would bring upon society or if it was merely a silly pronouncement by an out-of-touch Church. Come join the Patricians on Monday, June 11th at 7:00 pm in the acolyte room as we review what it taught and what value it has for us on its 50th anniversary. Water and snacks will be provided.
