Save the Dates! Fortnight for Freedom at St. Veronica, June 21st to July 4th

Ongoing threats to our religious liberties have prompted the U.S. bishops to call for a second Fortnight for Freedom. Bishop Loverde is encouraging each parish to fill these days with prayer and penance to end the threats to our right to live and worshop as God intended. Like last year, the Fortnight begins June 21st, the vigil of the Feasts of St. John Fisher and St. Thomas More, great martyrs who remained faithful in the face of persecution by political power, and culminates on July 4th, our national celebration of fundamental freedoms, in particular our first freedom—the freedom of religion! In union with dioceses and parishes around the country, this special period at St. Veronica will provide a number of opportunities for prayer, study, and catechesis to emphasize both our Christian and American heritage of liberty.

A warm welcome to

St. Veronica Catholic Church!

Sketch of Building

St. Veronica parish was founded in 1999 by Bishop Paul S. Loverde.  On June 22, 2003, we broke ground on our parish facility that includes St. Veronica Church, our parish hall, and St. Veronica School.  On February 5, 2005, Bishop Paul S. Loverde celebrated the Mass of Dedication of our Altar and blessed our church.  Currently, we have over 1,400 families registered.  St. Veronica is a warm and welcoming parish.  Our parishioners share their time, talent, and treasure to make our church a more visible sign of Christ's presence in the area.  As you attend Holy Mass and other parish and school activities, please be sure to introduce yourself to Fr. Hathaway, to Father Smith, and to your fellow parishioners.  The feast day of St. Veronica is July 12.
