We are the St. Veronica Victors! Jesus invites every member of our parish to “run so as to win” (1 Cor. 9:24). “We conquer overwhelmingly through Him Who loves us” (Rom. 8:37b) and “have the strength for everything through Him Who empowers us” (Phil. 4:13). Follow Him. Open your heart to Him in prayer; live the Sacramental life; offer daily sacrifices; and serve Him in our neighbor by developing a spiritual life plan for eternal victory. Here are some suggestions:

“Behold, your mother” (John 19:27). Daily: Rosary. Monthly: 1st Saturday Mass (Fatima request). Annually: Consecration to Jesus through Mary.
“He is the image of the invisible God” (Col. 1:15). Meditate on the Face of Christ in Veronica’s Veil and in Eucharistic Adoration (every week).
“Ask Jesus to make you a saint. Go to confession regularly [monthly] and to Communion as often as you can [add a daily Mass]” (St Dominic Savio).
“I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart” (Ps 9:1). Begin each day with a morning offering. End it with prayer of gratitude.
“The Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve” (Mt 20:28). Volunteer in our parish and local community. Spread the Gospel.
“You won’t see anyone who’s truly striving after spiritual advancement who isn’t given to spiritual reading [& bible meditation]” (St Athanasius).
Do spiritual reading and meditate on Scripture for 15+ minutes per day.
“Pick up your cross” (Lk 9:23). Self-mortification unites us to Christ. Abstain from meat on Friday and offer other sacrifices each week.
