Purgatory: Aim or Avoid?

Join the Patricians on Monday, May 8^th at 7:00 pm in the acolyte room as we discuss “Purgatory:  Understanding the Biblical Foundations and Whether It’s a Place to Aim for or Avoid.”  Purgatory has often been a difficult topic for Catholics to explain to other Christians.  Many claim it isn’t found in Scripture,  others claim that it isn’t needed.  Even among Catholics, it is misunderstood.  Is aiming for it a sign of humility, of practicality or putting limits on God’s Mercy?  Come join the Patricians as we discuss what the Church teaches and what we can learn for the lives of the Saints.  Water and snacks will be provided.
