The Aslan’s Army Apostolate of St. Veronica is an ongoing partnership between the parishioners of St. Veronica and the pro-life organizations Tepeyac OB/GYN and Divine Mercy Care. Our namesake is from C.S. Lewis’ Narnia series in honor of the dedicated believers committed to fighting for justice in service to Christ. This apostolate is dedicated to supporting the pro-life movement through:
- education on pro-life topics and medicine;
- helping expecting mothers in need and their families through financial support; and
- promoting the women’s healthcare services provided by Tepeyac OB/GYN.
What are Tepeyac OB/GYN & Divine Mercy Care?
Tepeyac OB/GYN is a Christ-centered, pro-life, and non-profit medical practice located in Fairfax, VA. It is the only practice of its kind in our region and provides quality medical care to all women. The practice consists of five board certified physicians and one midwife offering a wide variety of services. Divine Mercy Care is a fundraising and educational organization that supports the work of Tepeyac OB/GYN. Divine Mercy Care is able to assist Tepeyac OB/GYN in providing services to pregnant women in financial need through a variety of programs and partnerships. For more information, visit the Tepeyac website at www.tepeyacobgyn.com or the Divine Mercy Care website at www.divinemercycare.org.
Aslan’s Army will work throughout the year to raise a goal of $7500 in support of a mom in need. This money will cover a mother’s medical expenses throughout her pregnancy. In addition, we will host a number of educational events for parishioners including speakers from the pro-life medical field and movement.
