Mission Statement

We embrace Saint Mother Teresa’s compassion and commitment to help the needy by organizing and promoting various charitable events that provide material and financial assistance for the underprivileged.

History

The Saint Mother Teresa Outreach Apostolate is an organization founded by the parishioners of St. Veronica under the patronage of Saint Mother Teresa.  Her life began as Gonxha (Agnes) Bojaxhiu in Skopje, Yugoslavia on August 26, 1910.  At the age of 18 she left home to join an Irish order, The Loreto Sisters of Dublin, who were missionaries.  In 1950 after receiving a call from God to live and work among the poor, Sister Teresa founded the Missionaries of Charity in Calcutta, India.  She was known for her great faith, compassion and commitment in providing aid to the poor, sick, orphaned and dying.  Today we embrace her same compassion to help those in our community who are in need.  We assist anyone regardless of their race, creed or color.
