Annual Christmas Giving Tree Program Continues through This Weekend

December 6, 2017 4:43 pm

The Saint Mother Teresa Outreach Apostolate’s (SMOTA) Annual Christmas Giving Tree program begins on Saturday, November 26th. Christmas Trees covered with Purple and Pink Tags are located in the north and south vestibules. A Purple Tag will mean that your gift will go to a family in Madison or Culpepper County that struggles each day just to meet their basic needs. A Pink Tag means your gift will go to a resident at Manor Care Nursing Home who may have no family or friends to remember them during this most Holy Season.

After you have selected a Purple or Pink Tag, make your purchase. Please note that Purple Tag gifts are UNWRAPPED, and Pink Tag gifts are WRAPPED. Return your gift with the Pink or Purple Tag securely attached and place it in one of the brown bins located in the north or south vestibules by Sunday, December 10th.

If your tag/envelope was for a gift card, you may do one of three things:

  • Drop it off at the Parish Office during the week;
  • Place it in the offertory baskets at Mass; or
  • Place in the black poor box in the north vestibule.

Your generosity will help bring the spirit of Christmas giving to the families of Madison and Culpepper Counties and to the residents at Manor Care. May the Peace of the Christ Child fill your home!
