St. Lucy Food Drive End This Coming Sunday–Fill Up Your Blue Bags and Return Them to the Vestibules No Later Than Sunday, May 26th.

More than 219,000 people in our diocese are hungry and do not know where there next meal will come from.  As Christ said, “For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink . . . . ”  Matthew 25:35.  Our brothers and sisters in Christ need our help.  In the summer, the focus of collection efforts turns to kid friendly, nutritious food for kids who will not get their meals at school.

Blue shopping bags are available in the vestibules with a list of preferred items for purchase.  Please fill the bags and return to St. Veronica by Sunday, May 26^th.  For more information about the drive, please contact the parish office at 703-773-2000.

 Monetary donations and Gift Cards to Dollar Tree, Aldi’s, Walmart, and Giant are always welcome.  Checks can be made out to:  Catholic Charities with “St. Lucy Project” in the memo portion and dropped off at the parish office OR sent directly to Catholic Charities, ATTN:  Program Director, 8426-8428 Kao Circle, Manassas, VA  20110.
