November Food Deliveries for Those in Need & Diaper Drive

LINK Fight Against Hunger is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year.  St. Veronica parishioners continue to be extremely generous with donations to the LINK food pantry that benefits the western Fairfax and eastern Loudoun counties.  These food and non-perishable staples are delivered to folks that have been approved for this assistance.

LINK is having a Diaper Drive Through October 31st.  Please drop off baby diapers and wipes in the donation boxes in the church vestibules—Sizes 5 and 6 are in most need.  Take advantage of current sales:  $9.50 off Kirkland brand diapers at Costco, sales at Target, etc.

November is St. Veronica’s month for LINK deliveries to those in need.  Drivers are in great need because of the increased number of clients served affected by the pandemic.  We need St. Veronica individuals and families to help with these deliveries, Tuesday – Saturday evenings, at your convenience.  The food is packaged prior to pick up.  Volunteers coordinate with the client, pick up the bagged items at the pantry and make the delivery.  You will be contacted the evening before the delivery with your client’s name, address, and telephone number.  Please consider participating in this important ministry by signing up for a date in November at https://tinyurl.com/3jja67sv.
